Type 2

Adolescents who are Wisconsin residents may be adjudicated with a Type 2 status. The Academy is certified by the State of Wisconsin Department of Health and Human Services as a Type 2 facility with Principal Of Subject Control (POSC) trained staff.

Who will benefit from the Type 2 Program ?
Wisconsin adolescents, (both male and female), who may be adjudicated as delinquent and a Type 2 status can receive benefit from the combination of treatment and the ability to utilize Juvenile Correction sanctions, as necessary.

Sanction decisions are always made in conjunction with the referring agency. The length of a sanction can be from 1 to 10 days. With the placing agency approval for a sanction, the Academy manages the documentation, transportation, and cost incurred with the juvenile corrections facility.
